New to discussion forums? Read this!
Howdy! If you're new to the whole world of discussion forums, this intro is just for you.
Main: This is where you start. There are rules on the left, and a newsfeed from ChronicBabe.com on the right. On the left, in Groups, you can browse the different groups and join any one that looks good to you. You can participate in the chat room (if you see other folks there) by just starting a conversation. You can see what other members have talked about recently (and join those conversations).
My Page: This is where you show off your personality. Upload a photo of yourself, describe your interests, share fun videos and more.
Members: You can search the members with any word, so you can find people who share your interests of find a particular friend.
Groups: I encourage you to join groups that meet your needs, or even start your own! If you start a group, please upload a photo for it, a good description, and try to keep the conversation flowing.
Discussions: You can browse these conversations, and join any one you want by simple adding your comments. If you want to start a discussion, go for it! Just lick on the "add a discussion" link in the upper right corner when you're at the discussions page. Include tags (which help people find it if they're searching) and plenty of info.
Chat: You can chat whenever you see people there - sometimes we schedule chats with themes or just as a random time you can chat with me and others. If you want to pop out the chat window so you can talk while browsing through the site, hover over the icons in the top-right corner of the chat box and you'll see one that says "pop out."
Videos: If you've made a video (or found one you like on YouTube, Vimeo or another service) you can either upload it or link to it. I will approve every video.
Photos: Upload as many as you want, as long as they're yours (not someone else's artwork or images) and please be mindful not to include unsavory content. Just like the videos, I get final approval.
Gifts: This is a new feature. You start with a certain number of credits, and Ning gives you more credits over time, or you can purchase them. You can give and get gifts. We actually get a little money from each gift that is exchanged, which is awesome! For more on gifts, check out the Ning Gifts Help page.

Hi Jenni!!! I just want to say "thank you!!!" to you for starting this site!!! It has provided me with some awsome tips for getting thru or dealing with specific issues & had also been sent some incredible support in times of need. I hope Ive been able to pay it forward by chatting with & supporting some of the babes that I've been in discussion with. Thanks for all your hard work especially in light of the fact that you are a chronic babe youeself!!!

I was in a rough period of my life when I stumbled upon this site and I'm slowly managing to turn things around with the information I've gained here and from various resources associated with this site. You are a huge inspiration to many of us who want to contribute more to the world than just being the token sick girl!

Hey Jenni!! I updated my profile pic, but it was not without difficulty...I had to ask hubby for help, only to realize all I had needed to do was hit "save" & I* would have been successful!!
